Very moving and well said. You have me thinking about why I paint. It is so clear after reading your thoughts on this that trying to capture the essential is what it`s all about and I want to keep this foremost in my mind when I start a drawing, painting or a sketch. Trying to determine what the essential is is often difficult for me so it will be good to really work on.
